| During the winter of 1998-1999, I worked in the prestigious studio of master architect Umberto Riva in Milan, Italy. Riva is renown for his attention to detail. I learned to design interiors and to design lamps in that period. I have shoeboxes full of
sketchbooks with lamps, furniture, and architectural details. Below are two freelance projects from 2005-2006.

Railings
Design for wood railings in an open space living room, second floor home office, and archive space.

Lamp for designed for the 2005 Takeaway collection. Prototype manufactured in China; displayed during the Salone del Mobile week in Milan, Italy.
